Herend Village Pottery C. 1990 Violet Pattern Covered Vegetable Bowl

A pottery covered vegetable bowl by Herend Village Pottery, a division of Herend Hungary, specializing in high quality utilitarian pottery. This piece is in the Violet pattern with white body and flowers in variations of pinks and purples with green leaves. The piece is round in shape with dual handles 11 7/8" across them and 8 5/8" across the mouth. It boasts a fitted cover with knob handle which gives the bowl an overall height of 7 1/8". It does have overall crazing and there is a single hairline at the rim (pictured). These pottery pieces were built to be lasting and durable, microwave and dishwasher safe. It does need to be washed before being used or displayed. Shipping is available.
