Item Description

3 sets of Chinese Export Rose Medallion demitasse cups and saucers, each saucer 4 3/8"across and each cup 21/8" tall x 27/8" across with handle. They are all marked on the reverse 'China' dating them from 1890-1915 when 'Made in' was added. Each saucer shows a bird with leaves and flower in the central medallion surrounded by 4 panels depicting birds, butterflies, and flowers. All pieces are skillfully hand painted and in good condition with no chips or cracks. There may be minor paint loss in some spots as expected from age and use. There is a fourth cup and saucer included but not shown with the others because the cup has a chip at the mouth (pictured in the last 2 images).
