We are just beginning to scratch the ...view moresurface. Many items being offered here were used by local theater groups as props for shows. Just a fun mix to start emptying out this house.
Some History about the home:
This home was built circa 1860 by Captain Henry Hallock and then lived in by Dr. Chambers around 1880 with his family and practice. It was then purchased in 1945 by the Moose Lodge for their growing membership and was popular for clandestine poker games in the tower and slot machines in secret rooms. They built the bar and ballroom in 1951 for dances and other exclusive events. In the 1960s it was purchased by the Cultural Slavic Center where they hosted legitimate theater and was the predecessor to Theater Three, still in operation. In the 1970s it was picked up by the rock group Foghat who used the ballroom/theater as a recording studio and named it “The Boogie Hotel” where many popular musicians visited and recorded. It was most recently purchased about 25 years ago as a distressed property and the owners have been working tirelessly in restoring it to its former glory.

Shipping: For small items only. We have an outside shipper who will handle your items beautifully. Once the auction is over, he will call you in a few days with a price. You can pay him directly. Minimum processing fee starts at $25 and up depending on your item, insurance and location. Call with questions 💳
