J.T. Jones Crown Staffordshire Golden Pheasant-shippable

Fine bone china golden pheasant by J.T. Jones Crown Staffordshire. J.T. Jones was born in 1898 and was the director at Staffordshire for more than 30 years. He joined Crown Staffordshire at the age of thirteen and worked for the company for forty-seven years. At the time of his death he was described as one of the leading designers of bone china tableware, although today, he is probably known best for the range of bird groups that he designed for the company. This lovely pheasant is hand painted and stands 6"H. Small chip on leaf, hairline.
