This Beautiful BOEHM figurine, “Tree Sparrow” #468, is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or restorations. Its measures are: 8" tall x 6” 3/4 x 5”.
Boehm figurines were created by Edward Marshall Boehm. He was a ceramic artist who incorporation his passion of art with his love of nature to produce figurines of birds, animals and flowers in background settings accurate to the tiniest detail. His first works were made in the very early 1950's in Trenton, New Jersey under the name of Osso Ceramics. He died in 1969 and the firm has since been managed by his wife. True Boehms are marked with various backstamps, all of which have incorporated the Boehm name since 1951.
The figurine is in wonderful condition with no chips, hairlines or repairs.
This gorgeous piece would definitely grace any room well. A great addition for any Boehm or bird collector.
