NIfty vintage studio pottery wall plaque, American, 1981, the deeply dished grainy tan stoneware body with thick circular foot, the front hand painted with the legend "Home Is Where the Trains Are" above an old-fashioned steam locomotive, the reverse with integral hanging holes and maker's inscription and date, 9-3/4" in diameter.
The inscription reads, "Welcome back Paul, Please Stay in California, Love D + I, July 9, 1981." A terrific find for the railroad or pottery collector or model train enthusiast.
CONDITION: In fine, attractive condition, with no cracks or chips.
