Scarce and handsome vintage doorstop by Connecticut Foundry, Rocky HIll, Connecticut, 1929, painted cast iron in the form of a basket of tulips, the overall dimensions 6-5/8" tall by 6-3/4" wide by 1-1/2" deep, marked "Tulips, [foundry logo], Copr. 1929."

A striking, colorful example from this New England manufactory.

CONDITION: Scattered light wear and small losses to paint, otherwise fine, attractive condition, with bright colors and pleasing, untouched original patina.
