VINTAGE GLASS ADVERTISING DISH FROM FRANK ZONA BEAUTY SALON, BOSTON, CIRCA 1950s - 1960s

Fabulous vintage advertising dish or tray from Frank Zona Beauty Salon, Boston, Massachusetts, 1950s–1960s, smoked glass in dished rectangular form decorated in gilt with the image of a wig with dramatic updo and long braid on stand, next to a tall wig box reading "Designer Wigs by Frank Zona," 8-3/8" x 8-7/8".

A delightfully kitschy, retro-rific relic from this longtime Massachusetts institution started by Sicilian immigrant Frank Zona on West Street in downtown Boston (later expanding to the Northshore Shopping Center in Peabody), now run by the third generation of Zonas.

Notes: CONDITION: A touch of mild rubbing to gilt, otherwise very fine condition, with no cracks or chips.
