Vintage Type 304-A cathode ray oscilloscope by Allen B. DuMont Laboratories, Clifton, New Jersey, 1950s, approx. 15-3/8" x 8-7/8 x 20-7/8" overall.
DuMont (1901–1965) pioneered improvements in cathode ray tubes that represented an important advance in early television technology. Originally best known for the manufacture of electronics, television equipment, and televisions themselves, DuMont also operated an important if little-rememberd fourth television network, named after himself, from 1942 to 1956, airing such pioneering series as Captain Video and The Ernie Kovacs Show.
Notes: Soiling and wear to exterior; lights up when plugged in, but working condition unknown (as I have no inputs); sold as is and as shown
