Fine vintage decorative plate or charger, "Brig General Wolfe, Newfoundland Trader, Poole, 1797," by Poole Pottery, 1970, hand-painted, the deeply dished center featuring the hand-painted image of the vessel, the rim painted with inverted scalloped border, 10-3/4" in diameter, the reverse with calligraphic inscription reading "This dish was made and painted at POOLE POTTERY in the year 1970, Ship drawn by Arthur Bradbury, Painted by Susan Allen."

Notes: In excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, scratches, crazing, or staining
