Item Description

Two vintage dinner plates from the Parker House Hotel, Boston, made by Syracuse China, 1966–67, heavy restaurant ware with rolled rim, the center featuring the hotel's stag-themed crest with Latin motto "Fideli Certa Merces," ornate border, approx. 9-7/8" in diameter, the underside marked "Syracuse China, USA" with date codes for January 1966 and May 1967.

Boston's Parker House, founded in 1855, is the oldest continuously operating hotel in the United States.

CONDITION: Surface wear and utensil marks from normal use, otherwise very good condition, with no cracks, chips, crazing, or staining.
