TWO VINTAGE AMERICAN STUDIO POTTERY VASES BY TERESA TAYLOR AND GAIL KASS

Lot of two vintage pieces of American studio pottery, including: 1) Striking vase by Teresa Taylor, Salty Dog Pottery, Barnstead, New Hampshire, late 20th century, slab-constructed off-white stoneware of square section with irregular angled rim, the exterior glazed with abstract decorations in varying tones of blue, brown, gray, violet, and ocher, approx. 10-3/4" x 3" x 3", the based incised "Taylor"; 2) Lovely handmade vase in the "Clouds + Fields" design by Gail Kass, Ash Cove Pottery, Maine, 1990, the buff clay body of tapering rounded oblong shape, decorated with a stylized design of mountains and clouds in delicate shades of green, blue-gray, and white, the overall dimensions 3-1/8" tall by 5" wide by 2-1/8" deep, the base incised "Gail Kass, 6/90, Maine," and also bearing Kass' "GK" monogram stamp.

Notes: In very fine, attractive condition, with no cracks or chips
