TWO ART DECO CERAMIC WARES BY GRIMWADES, ENGLAND, INCLUDING A TEAPOT AND VASE

Lot of two vintage Art Deco china wares by Grimwades, Stoke on Trent, England, 1920s–1930s, including: 1) Byzanta Ware teapot, the body of compressed form with everted rim and locking lid, finished in luster glazed in mottled tones of blue and lavender, the rim in red-orange, approx. 7-1/2" long overall by 3-3/4" tall, marked with globe and "Byzanta Ware, Grimwades, Stoke on Trent, England," and imprssed "TROY" [shape designation]; 2) Vase in the Ming pattern, the body of square shape with canted corners, slightly outset bracketed feet, and everted rim, finished in a mottled light purple glaze with a band of stylized dragons in blue and gold, gilt and black accents, 7-5/8" tall overall, marked " 'Ming,' Grimwades, Stoke on Trent, England," and imprssed "RECTA" [shape designation].

Notes: A few scattered rubs to decoration, otherwise fine condition, with no cracks or chips
