TWO ANTIQUE TIN KITCHEN CANISTERS, INCLUDING SUGAR AND COFFEE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Two antique kitchen tins or canisters, early 20th century, painted tinplate in cylindrical form, including: 1) "COFFEE" in metallic gold and white against a light blue background, approx. 5-1/2" tall by 6-1/8" in diameter; 2) "SUGAR," hinged lid with hasp, finished in off white, approx. 7" tall by 7" in diameter.

Two striking examples with plenty of primitive character. Perfect for repurposing as catchalls or storage caddies.

CONDITION: Rubbing and scattered small losses to finish (principally to sugar), and a bit of light surface oxidation commensurate with age, otherwise very good, solid condition overall, with no holes or significant dents.
