TWO ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE HANDLELESS TEACUPS, CIRCA 1820s - 1840s

Two antique handleless teacups, Staffordshire, England, circa 1820s–1840s, including: 1) Hard paste, magenta transfer design featuring a landscape with animals and a manor house, 2-1/8" tall by 3-3/8" in diameter; 2) Earthenware, mulberry transfer design depicting a woman cradling a bird in her arms as an angry bird in flight looks on , 2-1/2" tall by 4" in diameter.

Notes: CONDITION: First with dark impurities from manufacture embedded in bottom of interior; the second with very subtle uniform discoloration; otherwise fine condition overall.
