TWO ANTIQUE METAL OBJECTS, INCLUDING A PEWTER PLATE AND SOLID BRASS TEAKETTLE

Two antique metal objects, including: 1) Pewter plate, 18th–early 19th century, 7-7/8" in diameter, the rim engraved "SL," the underside bearing faint traces of now-illegible markings; 2) Solid brass teakettle, 19th century, of flattened ball form on four small knob-shaped feet, a threadlike seam visible at the "equator," approx. 8-1/8" tall by 7-1/4" in diameter.

Notes: CONDITION: Plate with wear commensurate with age, otherwise very good condition, with no breaks or repairs; kettle with scattered minor dents, a bit of wear to interior tinning, tarnishing, and a spots of oxidation/verdigris to exterior (needing a good polishing), otherwise very good condition overall.
