TWO ANTIQUE FLINT GLASS CELERY VASES ATTRIBUTED TO BOSTON & SANDWICH/NEW ENGLAND GLASS CO., CIRCA 1850s

Lot of two antique celery vases attributed to the Boston & Sandwich or New England Glass Company, circa 1850s, including: 1) Palace pattern (aka Thumbprint and Waffle), mold-blown flint glass with fire-polished rim and polished pontil, 9-1/4" tall; and 2) Graduated thumbprints in columns, fire-polished rim, the body and base joined with glass wafer, 10-7/8" tall.

Notes: The first in excellent condition, with with crystal clarity, a bright, sonorous ring, good wear patterns to the base, and no damage; the second with a few small chips and rough spots to base (mainly to inner ring, a few elsewhere), otherwise very good condition overall
