Three pieces of vintage cut glass, including: 1) Handsome bowl in the Peonies and Butterflies pattern designed by Reuben Haley for the United States Glass Co., circa 1916–1920, the thick-walled blank with scalloped rim, the sides deeply cut with both polished and unpolished motifs including lotus blossoms, butterflies, leafy branches, and a single bird in flight, approx. 9-1/4" in diameter overall by 4-1/2" tall. A distinctive pictorial pattern from this well-known designer best known for the Ruba Rhombic line he later designed for Consolidated; 2) Bowl or fernery with three small scrolled feet and crenellated rim, cut with various motifs including grapes, 6" in diameter overall by 3-1/4" tall; 3) Brandy snifter in the Lismore pattern by Waterford, 5" tall, with the etched Gothic Waterford mark.
CONDITION: Peonies bowl with some minor, unobtrusive abrasions and scrapes/scratches, and snifter with some very faint, subtle residue to interior of rim, otherwise near fine to fine condition overall, with no cracks or chips.
