THREE PIECES OF ANTIQUE COLORED EARLY AMERICAN PATTERN GLASS, LATE 19TH CENTURY

Item #1399
Lot #105 of 170
Item Description

Three pieces of colored EAPG (early American pattern glass), including: 1) Rare glass or mug in the Diamond Cut with Leaf Pattern by Windsor Glass Company, 1880s, blue glass, 3-1/4" tall; 2) Vase in Pattern 16046 by the United States Glass Company, circa 1898, green glass, 7-1/4" tall by approx. 3-7/8" in diameter at the rim; 3) Creamer in Pattern No. 25 (aka Three Panel) by Richards and Hartley Glass Co., circa 1885, in amber glass, 5-1/8" tall.

Examples of the cup in blue are of extreme scarcity; I was unable to locate a single other example in any form from any current online source. The vase is one of a number of known variations of this pattern (in which only a vase is known to have been produced); this variant is slightly taller than standard examples and features a more elongated twisted knop joined to the base by a plain stem.

Notes: CONDITION: Mug with few pinpoint rough spots to inner rim and handle seam; otherwise excellent condition, with no cracks, chips, or haze.
