RARE EARLY TEAPOT BY GARDEN OF THE GODS POTTERY, COLORADO, CIRCA 1950s

Rare early teapot by Garden of the Gods Pottery, Colorado Springs, Colorado, circa 1950s, the off-white clay body of squat compressed-ball form with distinctively pointed handle, finished in a thick, mottled medium blue high glaze, approx. 5" tall overall by 8" long overall (handle to tip of spout), the underside with circular "Garden of the Gods Pottery, Made in Colorado Springs" stamp and original penciled price ($3.00).

Extremely scarce in this form, glaze, and early date. A once-in-a-blue-moon opportunity for the collector of Colorado pottery!

CONDITION: In very fine, beautifully preserved condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing.
