Very scarce and terrific "Milford [NH] Home Calendar," issued by W. B. Rotch, Milford, New Hampshire, 1909, printed on twelve leaves of heavy card bound with a woven cord, 10-3/4" x 8-7/8".
In addition to small calendars for each of the twelve months of 1909, the calendar features numerous photos of prominent buildings, landmarks, and personalities in Milford, including Hartshorn's Mill Pond; Hutchinson Homestead; Band Stand on Union Square [Oval]; Covered Bridge; Eagle Hall; Stone Bridge; Old Mill; Holiday House; Old Brick School; High School; Pumping Station; Congregational Church; Unitarian Church; Milford Cabinet Office; Tennis Court; Swing Bridge; and more.
Rare, very possibly a unique survival; I was unable to locate a single other example. A true treasure for the collector of New Hampshire history!
CONDITION: A bit of light soiling and mild surface wear (principally to front cover); a few tiny tears at punch holes; otherwise complete, attractive, and near fine overall.
