Item Description

Four identical vintage lidded mustard pots or condiment jars in the Bluegrass pattern by Black Knight/Hutschenreuther, Germany, circa 1910s–1920s, heavy restaurant ware in cylindrical form with flaring rim and base, each lid with molded notch for a small spoon, the exterior decorated with stylized stencil-style band featuring styllzed floral and geometric motifs in olive green and cobalt blue, approx. 3-3/8" tall, each with pictorial Black Knight marks including pattern name and Boston wholesaler. (Note that only three are shown, but four are included.)

A striking, seldom-seen pattern with a distinctive Arts & Crafts flair.

CONDITION: In very fine condition, with no cracks, chips, crazing, or staining, all retaining full original gloss.
