Scarce and stunning antique compote or centerpiece by Keller and Guérin/Saint-Clément, France, circa 1900, the buff earthernware body of footed form with dished top naturalistically modeled with leafy peach or apricot branches and finished in faience/majolica glazes, the foot molded with leafy branches and similarly finished, 4" tall by 9-1/2" in diameter, marked "K & G, St. Clément, France, Deposé.
Seldom seen in this model and decoration. A handsome and elegant focal point for your dining table, sideboard, or collection of antique pottery!
CONDITION: A few small, subtle discolorations (noted only for strict accuracy), otherwise fine, attractive condition, with cracks or chips.
