Scarce bowl (No. 58896) from the "Swing" series designed by Kjell Engman for Kosta Boda, Sweden, 1989, hand-blown cased glass in compressed circular/oval form, the interior of snowlike mottled eggshell white cased in clear, ground base, the overall dimensions 6" tall by 7-1/2" wide by 5-5/8" deep, the base engraved "Kosta Boda 58896, K. Engman," retaining the original Kosta Boda label.

A striking and lesser-seen example from one of Engman's most renowned series for Kosta Boda.

CONDITION: Expected light scratching to underside of base; a single pinpoint rough spot to edge of base (insignificant and noted only for strictest accuracy); otherwise fine, attractive condition.
