ANTIQUE MIRROR IN VENEERED FRAME, EARLY 19TH CENTURY

Fabulous antique mirror, American, first half 19th century, sight size of the original glass plate 17-5/6 x 11-5/8", in a rosewood- or mahogany-veneered frame with molded bottom measuring 24-3/8" wide x 17" tall overall.

A terrific example with plenty of presence and "shabby" character.

Notes: CONDITION: A few small, minor age cracks; small loss to wood near bottom edge of glass; a few small veneer losses to sides; discoloration and losses to silvering; otherwise good condition overall, with no breaks to glass.
