Fine original antique hand-tinted silver gelatin photo, "Chocorua River, Winter," by Homes Studio, Chocorua, New Hampshire, circa 1910, the image measuring approx. 4-3/8" x 3-1/2", on the original cream mount measuring 10" x 8" and under glass in the original painted wooden frame measuring 10-1/2" x 8-1/2" overall, titled in pencil beneath the image and signed on the mount near the lower left corner of the image "Homes Studio, Chocorua, N.H."

A striking, sensitively tinted example from this early White Mountains photographer.

CONDITION: Light wear to frame, and few tiny irregularities to emulsion, otherwise fine, clean, attractive condition, with excellent contrast and clarity.
