Item #1318
Lot #25 of 170
Item Description

Scarce and striking antique still bank in the form of a (non-functional) drop-leaf table and matching stool, 19th–early 20th century, cut and soldered heavy-gauge sheet brass, one long edge of the table with coin slot, the table approx. 3-3/4" x 2-3/4" x 1-3/4", the stool 1-7/8" x 1-1/4" x 1".

A unique, beautifully made example with plenty of folk art appeal, likely produced as a gift or novelty by a metalworker. Found in south central New Hampshire.

Notes: A touch of mild scattered surface wear (a few small spots of oxidation/discoloration to stool), otherwise fine, attractive condition, with no breaks or losses, all seams remaining sturdy and fully intact.
