ANTIQUE CAST IRON STILL BANK IN THE FORM OF A BANK BUILDING

Handsome antique still bank, early 20th century, cast iron in the form of a multistory bank building with canted corners and lobed dome with ball finial, original silver paint, the overall dimensions 4-3/4" tall by 4" wide by 2-1/2" deep.

A less common variant of a similar bank with the same general appearance but slightly different stance (e.g., the present example has a greater number of windows in each course, and the word BANK is fully horizontal).

CONDITION: Mild wear to paint, otherwise fine, beautifully preserved condition, with no breaks or losses, the original screw intact, with an overall rich, pleasing undisturbed patina.
