ANTIQUE BUTTER MOLD WITH CARVED LEAF DESIGN, 19TH - EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Antique butter mold, 19th century, turned and carved maple, the plunger surface carved with a stylized leaf pattern, 3-3/4" tall (with plunger down) by 3-3/8" in diameter overall at the rim.

Found in southeastern Michigan.

CONDITION: Expected surface wear, and a few typical age cracks (not affecting integrity), otherwise very good condition.
