Charming and nifty pair of coffee mugs by Bethany Butterworth, Bread and Butter Pottery, Halifax, Nova Scotia, each hand-thrown in reddish clay in barrel form, one featuring hand-painted images of two mermaids, the other featuring two mermen, 4-1/4" tall, each with impressed "BRB" mark.

A whimsical pair from this well-regarded Canadian potter, who is evidently no longer producing new commercial work.

CONDITION: In very fine, as-new condition.
