Item Description

Lovely pair of antique plates from the Select Views series by Ralph Hall, Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, circa 1822–1841, earthenware/stoneware with blue transfer decoration depicting Warleigh House, Somersetshire surrounded by large fruit and flowers, 8-3/4" in diameter, each marked "R. Hall's Select Views, Warleigh House, Somersetshire, Stone China."

A handsome, nicely preserved pair from the Golden Age of Staffordshire pottery.

CONDITION: A few very minor utensil marks, otherwise fine, attractive condition, with no cracks or chips, retaining deep, rich color and very good original gloss throughout.
