About this Auction:
My name is Michael, I am the owner of 603 Estate Sales. A year ago I underwent pretty extensive surgery followed by weeks of radiotherapy (radiation therapy) for Tonsil/Neck Cancer. This blue plastic Mold "Mask" is essentially a custom-made device that holds your head and neck in place during radiation therapy treatments. The mask helps ensure that your head is in the correct position for each treatment, which makes the treatment more accurate and effective. Basically, your head and neck is snapped down to the table for what ended up being 20-45 minutes every day while a machine directs radiations beams to kill off the Cancer. Anyone that has had to has this done knows it can be quite awful, and claustrophobic.

Once treatment is finished, they always ask you: "So what are you going to do with your mask?" My instant answer was to "riddle it with bullets and then set it on fire!" Then is sat in my house for nearly a year, and gradually I wondered if there was something else, I could do with it, maybe even something that could help someone else?!? Afterall, this thing did aid in keeping me alive!

~ After much thought, my resounding answer was to Auction it off, and give the money to someone, or some people in need going through Cancer! ~ So that is exactly what I'm going to do with my mask!

My plan is this:
My 1 Year Scans are in December, right before Christmas. I have to go into the Chemo & the Radiation areas and would like to simply give someone/or hopefully more than one person waiting in those rooms a card with a note of Hope and some cash. Having cancer is not only mentally and physical challenging, it's downright expensive! Even if it's a little, it could go towards gas to and from their treatments or a lunch in-between their treatments or whatever they deem they can use it for.

I trust in God that He will lead to find the right person/people to give it to and need a note of encouragement. With YOUR help, my mask that I originally wanted to "riddle with bullets and burn" will turn it into something GOOD.
