Item Description

Selling a antique Chippendale style mahogany slant front desk with carved shell decoration on the front. Featuring 4 drawers with brass hardware, fluted column corners, carved ball and claw feet, and carved skirt. All the drawers are dovetailed and the top is dovetailed as well. Comes with 2 keys, one for the drawers and one for the slant front. A great narrow size.

Made of mahogany and oak as a secondary wood.

Measures 40.75” height x 28” width x 19” depth x 14” slant front x 23.5” from back of interior to front of slant front.

Notes: one minor repair on corner of drawer and a minor split on one side, otherwise normal scuffs scratches consistent with age and use.

PLEASE READ FOR DIRECTIONS TO SHOP ENTRANCE: We are located at the Velvet Mill, however not at the main entrance, we are at the opposite end of the building.

The address for your GPS should be 44 Meadow Ave in Stonington, CT 06378. Our entrance is opposite of the main entrance. It is a set of double doors under the Black Velvet Ink sign. Please go down those stairs (5 steps), and our shop is on the right. 21st Century Antiques.

There's a flat $20 fee for the first hour of shipping and $15 per hour thereafter. COIN ONLY INVOICES WILL BE A FLAT $10 FEE. Shipping cost is additional; please contact us for an estimate.
